KASHMIR TO KANYAKUMARI - ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT RUN VIRTUAL CHALLENGE

Aim of Run

1. To support Rehabilitation Training of Disabled Soldiers.

2. Quality Education and Upgradation of Tribal Schools

3. To spread the message of 'One India, United India, Atmanirbhar Bharat Run.'

ATMANIRBHAR Bharat Run is a run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) over 4,000 km in 76 days for transforming the lives of differently abled soldiers and enhancing the quality of education for tribal children.

With the objective of promoting fitness, creating awareness, and achieving bliss through the act of giving, Team FAB Foundation was started by a group of runners, who wanted to combine their passion for running with their desire for giving. Running strengthens the body and clears the mind, while giving enriches the soul.

The mission is to ensure that 100% of the funds received go to those in need. The Founder Director of Team FAB Foundation, Mr. Kumar Ajwani, is ultra-marathoner. He has run many inter-city and inter-state runs for social causes and has been helping the needy through the funds raised. For the first time someone, who is a senior Citizen, will be running for almost 4,200 km in India.

Run for differently-abled Soldiers: Mr. Kumar had run 1,450 km for 26 days from Mumbai to Delhi in 2019 for raising funds for QMIT (QMIT- private charitable institution, conducts rehabilitation training courses for disabled servicemen, ex-servicemen and their dependents. It is recognized by National Council of Vocational Training).

During the pandemic in 2021, Team FAB Foundation upgraded the semi- Government hospital at Abhona in Nashik District at an approx. cost of Rs. 13 Lakhs. Currently, Team FAB is upgrading a rurakschool (Ramgir Vidyalaya) at Chaundhanu in Nasik.

We also strive to create a good future for children in tribal areas, which can be made possible through your generous support.

This year Mr. Kumar Ajwani has decided to run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari for raising funds for two causes:

• QMTI Supporting the rehabilitation of differently-abled Soldiers
  
• Education Upgrading tribal schools in Maharashtra
