The Healing Legacy of Ancient Egypt: A Spagyrics Workshop Series
Embark on a journey into the ancient roots of Spagyrics, an Egyptian knowledge system passed down through generations.
Spagyria can be defined as a philosophical current, but also as a science with origins in alchemy. The term spagyria comes from the Greek spao and agueiros, meaning “to separate” and “to gather”. This is precisely how spagyric preparations attain the highest degree of purity and uniqueness.
Spagyria was born precisely from the need, or rather, the ability to gather essential and biochemical compounds of the individuals of nature for the purpose of healing not only the body, but also the most subtle part of every living being: its soul and its spirit.
According to spagyric medicine, the spirit is the life force and the soul is the intermediary between the spirit and the body, both of which must be nourished. As the illustrious physician and alchemist Paracelsus once said, when the soul suffers, the body also suffers.
Thus, illness becomes the final part of a process of suffering that involves spirit and soul which are no longer in communication.
Every spagyric medicine contains the three philosophical principles. Sulfur (Anima/Soul), Mercury (Spirit), Salt (Body).
Capturing the Plant's Soul: Essential Oil Distillation and Other Extractions in Spagyrics - Part I

Ancient Wisdom: The Grounding Power of Spagyrics Salts – Part III
In this course, you’ll discover that “Salt” represents the densest and most solid aspect of a plant. Salts are derived from the minerals and nutrients absorbed by the roots through osmosis or captured by the leaves during photosynthesis.
The Spagyrics approach involves obtaining Salt through Calcination, a process that eliminates all “impurities.” Further purification through Leaching and Coagulation ensures the Salt is prepared to be reintegrated into the final product.
Philosophical Salt embodies the pure information of the Archetype and can be assimilated into the Earth Element.
Throughout the course, we will delve into working with the plant’s most distant memory, allowing this force to contribute to the creation of the true Medicine of Nature. Working with Salt parallels working with the plant’s remotest memory, marking the final stage in the Spagyrics process.

Introduction to Ancient Astrology and Astro Diagnose
In ancient Egyptian times, predating Chemistry and Astronomy, Alchemy and Astrology were prominent. Understanding alchemy requires delving into astrology, as both disciplines share the common goal of purifying and aligning the body with the soul. This alignment allows the spirit to manifest itself purely through the body, serving as its physical manifestation.
Join our introductory workshop on Ancient Astrology, rooted in the philosophic and astronomic principles of the Greeks and Egyptians. Core concepts such as astrology, elements, planets, and signs will be presented, aiming to comprehend the intimate relationship between heaven and earth.
The workshop’s purpose is to enhance our understanding of the inner and outer workings of the world, aiding us in making better decisions for self-growth and harmony in our lives.
It’s important to note that the ideas presented are beautiful, fascinating, and complex. Ancient alchemists dedicated years and generations to gaining the wisdom needed to understand the symbolism, myth, and philosophy of astrology and alchemy. Approach with an open mind and heart, and immerse yourself in the captivating stories told by Mauricio and Indio about the ancients, passed down for centuries.
This workshop encourages a holistic approach to self-discovery and personal development by drawing on the rich tapestry of ancient wisdom.
In addition, you will discover:
The Spagyric Phytotherapy journey unfolds in three parts: Archetypes, Melothesia, and Plants. Initially, we delve into the fundamental concepts of an archetypal approach, exploring how the ancients perceived and connected with both the macro and microcosm. The seven primordial forces, expressed in the sky and the earthly realms of the vegetable, animal, and mineral kingdoms, will be elucidated through myths and characteristic forms. Analogical thinking enables us to identify reflections of divine light in both human beings and nature.
Moving to the second part, we explore various forms of energetic medicine such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Egyptian Medicine, integrating spagyric remedies. Emphasizing melothesia, the astrological perspective, we delve into how signs and planets manifest in individuals, aiding in understanding energy imbalances and guiding the selection of phytotherapy medicines.
In the final segment, representative plants of each archetype take center stage. We explore their myths, when relevant, and delve into their common indications and application methods, encompassing both physical and psychic dimensions.
Clay Tablet Acupuncture: An Ancient Egyptian Approach
The Clay Tablet System is an energy rebalancing technique recovered from important medical papyri of Ancient Egypt by Dr. Angelo Angelini (Italy) and his students.
In this method, small clay pieces with geometric shapes are gently heated and placed on specific points of the body’s energy channels (referred to by the Egyptians as Mo-t). Drops of spagyric quintessences are added to the clay. This way, besides manipulating energy in the vessels, it’s also possible to convey archetypal information and medicinal properties.
The course will be taught by Mauricio Carneiro, an acupuncturist and student of Professor Stefano Stefani, a disseminator of Dr. Angelo Angelini’s work and Spagyric Medicine in Brazil. He also works towards spreading knowledge of Ancient Astrology, Philosophy, and Mythology through the Orion Astrology School.
