ABOUT HARIHAR FORT:

Harihar Fort is a historic site located in Maharashtra's Nashik district. The Harihar trek is famous among many travel enthusiasts seeking a quick retreat amidst nature. Blessed with a soothing aura of rich green foliage and panoramic views of breathtaking landscapes, the activity works as a stress buster dose for every trekker.

Soon as you reach the hilltop of Harihar fort, you will be left stunned by the beautiful elongated plateau's astonishing views. On a clear day, the view from Fort Harihar can take your breath away. You have a great vantage point to see forts here, such as Bhaskargad or Basgad, Anjaneri fort, Bhandardurg, Vaitarna lake, Utwad fort, etc.

ROUTE: Pune > Nashik > Trimbak > Harihar Fort

PICK UP POINTS: To be shared 1 day prior to trek on WhatsApp group (Usual pick points: Eon, Viman Nagar, Vishrantwadi)

• First pick up at 8:00 AM (may change per location)

• Lunch On the way

• Reach Base Village by 4 PM

• Start Our Trek

• Reach top of the Fort by 8 PM

• Camping @ Harihar Fort

• Sunday Wakeup call around 4:00 AM

• Explore Harihar Fort

• Start Return Trek Reach Base Village by 10 AM

• Lunch @ Base Village

• Start return journey to Pune and by 6:00 PM

(Please note: All the timings mentioned above are based on the previous experiences from the trek. Timings may differ. RNT TREKKERS will NOT be responsible for any deviation from the schedule given above)

BOOKING POLICY:

o Prior confirmation with payment is required by 20 March, till 7.30 pm

o Confirmation will be cancelled if payment not received by 20 March

o The participant receives a payment invoice via WhatsApp within 24 hours of successful booking

THINGS TO CARRY:

o Water Bottle: A savior in many ways

o Munching Items: Trail Mix, Dry Fruits, Fruits, Laddu’s, etc.

o Daypack or Backpack: Travel Light & Organized

o Trekking Shoes or Hiking Boots: Walk the talk on your Hike or Trek

o Medical Kit: Personal Medicines, if any

o Extra Clothes: A Pair of Extra Clothes (2 extra, 1 night dress)

o Extra Pair of shoes, socks or chappals

o Soft blanket or sleeping bag to keep you warm at night

o Miscellaneous: Swiss Knife, Torchlight or Flashlight (night treks), Cap/Hat, Sanitizers, Masks, Sunscreen, camera, mosquito repellent etc.

DO’S & DON’TS:

 DO NOT throw Garbage & Plastic or litter around or near a water source or on a trek trail

 Use Call sign “Hello” “Oyee” incase if you are not in visible distance to the group

 Alert group against any falling object / rock - Recommended - call sign “Watch Out”

 Avoid wandering alone or click Selfie’s near the edge of an exposed valley

 Do not eat/pluck any fruits from the forest without trek leader’s consent as it could be poisonous

 Do not provoke or harm any animals, birds or honeybees

 Do not jump into a water body without trek leader’s permission

 Smoking & Alcohol consumption is strictly not allowed in any event of RNT TREKKERS
