‘Har ki Doon’ meaning the valley of the gods..!! A winter wonderland, a trekker’s delight, and an ideal place for shutterbugs, the Har Ki Doon Trek is a stairway to heaven that will make you fall for its beauty. The lovely walk to the valley with fascinating views of Swargarohini and a group of peaks mesmerize you as you walk ahead to your camps through the ancient village of Osla with a temple built 2000 Years ago and through the pristine parts of the Govind Pashu Vihar National Park. The trek is a good choice for beginners and experienced trekkers.

Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi – Dehradun
Report our trek leader and departure to Dehradun by train. Overnight train journey.
Day 02: Arrive at Dehradun – Sankri Base Camp.
Arrive at Dehradun early morning and transfer to base camp by jeep. Arrive at Sankri by afternoon and enjoy a short acclimatization walk in the evening. Overnight at Sankri.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Day 03: Sankri – Taluka – Dhatmeer
The day begins with a short drive of 11 kms takes us to a remote village Taluka. The actual trek begins from this point. From Taluka, we follow the course of the Supin River and reach Dhatmeer. The route offers spectacular waterfalls plunging down through the sheer sides of the huge valleys. Overnight at Dhatmeer.

Day 04: Dhatmeer – Kalkattiyadhar.
Today we start walking early in the morning and proceed ahead to our next campsite ahead of Osla. With the idyllic vibe retained in the surrounding, the trek proceeds through harvest lands, cattle grazing, and slant-roofed huts used as granary and storages. Right between the forests of cashew nuts and walnuts lies the serene village Osla. This village is said to be a preacher of Duryodhana of Mahabharata. Apart from the stories, the village is blissful having 2000 years old Temple and a few houses. The villagers are welcoming here. After a small chit-chat proceeds further and ascend. On this incline, you will get fabulous viewpoints to steal glimpses of the Dhauladhar Range out front. Snaky trails to Borasu Pass and Baspa Valley can also be made out from here. The high trail winds further down reaching a tabletop green stretch—Kalkattiyadhar. Overnight stay at Kalkattiyadhar.

Day 05: Kalkattidhar – Marinda taal – Har ki Dun
After breakfast, we start walking. The trail will go into the glacier basin having moraines and alpine meadows. Tall pine trees will be greeting you at every step. The trail is mixed of steep and moderate ascend until the Har Ki Dun valley. Just as you rise high you can see snow patches and frozen waterfalls. In Winter these sections are covered with thick snow. A valley is a heavenly place displaying immense beauty in one sight. The huge peaks of Swargarohini, Hata Peak, Black Peak, etc show their marveling glimpses. The valley is an amazing amalgamation of meadows, frozen streams, coniferous forests, glacier moraines, the backdrop of huge peaks. Enjoy a short visit to a nearby attraction Marindaa Taal. Overnight at Har ki Dun.

Day 06: Har ki Dun.
Free Day at the summit. Overnight at Har ki Dun.

Day 07: Har ki Dun – Seema.
From today the trek is actually the return journey. Today we shall retrace the steps through the Oslo village to Seema. Here's another chance to relive the moments with the peaceful villagers. Say goodbye to them and the stunning sights around you. Follow the same trail as of earlier and reach the campsite of Seema. Enjoy your last few moments of nightlife in the mountains. Overnight at Seema.

Day 08: Seema – Sankri
We set off on a 5-hour trek to Taluka this morning, climbing down by the familiar trail, stopping at familiar rest points. The car waits at the end of the dirt road to drive back base camp-wards. Pay special attention to descending tactics. Though climbing down accounts for lesser exhaustion, stressing out your soles with big steps is inadvisable. Sankri will arrive at the time for tea. Overnight at Sankri

Day 09: Sankri – Dehradun - Delhi
After breakfast departure for Dehradun. Arrive at Dehradun till evening and proceed ahead to Delhi by Train.

Day 10: Delhi Arrival
Arrive at Delhi and proceed to your respective return journey plans. Trek Ends
