Green Mobility Fest - Pune

We aim in mobilizing the society to participate in activities that will be socially and environmentally beneficial, which will help mold them into socially responsible citizens. In partnership with the Climate Reality Project India and Pune Municipal Corporation, we are organising Green Mobility Fest on 17th December,2023. We have also organised an expo for various cycles, electric vehicles and other smart solutions. 

By 2030, around 60% of the global population will live in cities, 75% by 2050. Urban mobility currently accounts for 40% of all CO2 emissions of road transport and up to 70% of other pollutants from transport. Transport creates emissions of GHG; smog presents serious public-health concerns. The question of how to enhance mobility while reducing congestion, accidents and pollution is a common challenge to all major cities in the world.

The Green Mobility Festival is a vibrant celebration of sustainable transportation and healthy living. This event invites attendees to immerse themselves in an exciting e-mobility expo, where they can explore cutting-edge electric vehicles and technologies. Participants can also engage in a thrilling cycling rally and a invigorating running activity, promoting eco-friendly modes of transport and physical well-being. This festival is a perfect fusion of environmental consciousness and active lifestyles, encouraging the community to embrace greener, healthier choices in their daily routines.

Event Day: 17th December, 2023 - Sunday

Location: Symbiosis Ground,Viman Nagar

• The event will flag off from the Symbiosis International school ground at 6:00am, with an opening address from the guest of honour.

• Zumba session before flag off ceremony.

• The Plogathon will have 3 pit stops

• The Cyclothon will have 2 pit stops

• The final pit stop will be the Starting point where all the participants will be awarded the certificates and the closing address will be presented by the Corporator

*Participants can choose to just participate and run or walk in case they are not comfortable to do the Plogathon.

*In case you do not own a cycle but want to participate in the cyclothon, we have cycles(limited numbers) which can be provided to you at the starting venue itself.

*Kindly report 20 mins prior of your flag-off timing to avoid any hassle
