This sleepy little beach town, about 480 km from Bengaluru has the look and the feel of a place unhindered by the whirlwind progress of modern society and technology. This is a place, unaware of the concept of time and routine. Everything in the town lends to the laid-back, rustic air.
Warning: You are about to read the most exciting section, a signature hand-crafted, Monks On Wheels experience. This is for people who want to join for some true adventure and unique fun.

Short Itinerary
Day 0 (Monday 30th Dec 2024)
1) We say bye to Namma Bengaluru at around 10:30 PM.
(Please have a light dinner. We don’t want you to starve!)
2) Our experienced organizers will keep you engaged with fun ice breaker session, a great way to bond with your fellow travellers.
3) Next up? Good rest required for the adventure in waiting!
Day 1 (Tuesday 31st Dec 2024)
1) Reach the property/campsite at Kumta in the morning.
2) Freshen up and have a delicious, authentic breakfast.
3) Drive/Boat Ride to the Trek start point in Gokarna.
4) Start the trek from Belakan Beach.
5) Trek and cross the hillocks to reach each of the 3 beautiful beaches namely –
Paradise Beach, Half Moon Beach, Om Beach.
6) Regain energy by having a lavish lunch (Self-sponsored) at any of the famous shacks in Om Beach.
7) Again take a boat ride/drive and return back to our property/campsite, freshen up and relax.
8) Put on your best dress for a night on a Premium Cruise.
9) Take a short drive to the port to board the cruise to celebrate New Year 2025.
10) Now, time to hit the dance floor and dance the night away as we celebrate NEW YEAR 2025.
11) Finish Dinner onboard the cruise
12) Return to back to our property/campsite in Kumta for overnight stay in rooms/tents on the beachside.
Day 2 (Wednesday 1st Jan 2025)
1) Wake up to the flawless view of the Arabian sea and enjoy the morning breakfast.
2) Start the return journey to Bengaluru. Wait, did you think the fun was over!!?
3) Sing along, dance to good music, and play interactive games on the way.
4) Have a sumptuous lunch and dinner (both Self-sponsored) enroute.
5) Return to Namma Bengaluru at night (around 11 PM) with memories of a lifetime!
Note:-
i) Comfortable accommodation for one night will be in beachside tents on two sharing basis and AC rooms on four sharing basis.
ii) 2 rooms with attached bathrooms will be provided for luggage and changing (common washrooms are also available in the campsite).
iii) Since big vehicles can’t go near the beach due to narrow roads, there will be a 10 – 15 mins walk from the main road to our property/campsite
iv) Standard Check-in time is 12 Noon at the property/campsite.

Lunch on all days, Dinner on Day 2, and any personal expenses and other things not mentioned above.

Advisory
1) Any costs occurred due to damages to the property, vehicle or the cruise during the tour will be have to be borne by the individual responsible for it.
2) Monks on Wheels trek leads will have radio communication device as a part of safety measure.
3) Comfortable accommodation will be in AC rooms or tents.
4) A Whatsapp group will be created 2-3 days before the event where all the necessary information like things to carry, pick up points, time etc will be provided.
5) We need a minimum of 9 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with full refund.
6) In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, road blocks etc. or restrictions by the government or forest department, the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.
7) No refund will be provided for the unused services.
The surroundings around the Homestay/Hotel/Camp will make you feel very close to Nature and has basic amenities.

1. What is Partial Payment? If partial payment is done, how to pay the remaining amount?
Partial payment is an advance paid to block your slot for a particular event. Remaining amount of the event to be paid online/cash on the day of the trip.
2. What kind of transport will be arranged by Monks on Wheels?
Monks on Wheels will be arranging an Non – AC tempo traveller or a mini bus depending on the group size.
3. From where will the transportation be arranged?
The transport will be arranged from Bengaluru.
4. After booking a trip, when will I receive further updates?
Our trips would get confirmed 2-3 days before the event date and you’ll be added to the trip’s WhatsApp group where you’ll receive further necessary information.
5. Where should we join, in case we are coming by our own transport arrangements?
Once your registration is confirmed, Monks on Wheels shall provide the exact location of our venue 2-3 days before the event.
6. Is there any age limit for Monks on Wheels’ trips?
Monks on Wheels do not restrict on the age as each individual has their own capabilities. But we would strongly recommend you to contact us so that our travel expert can give you a better idea of the trip.
