This Wildlife Week, SAEVUS brings a whole day of fun and learning for children. Wildlife art, storytelling, field experiences, photography tutorials, butterfly gardening, community introduction and a lot more.
Session timings: 10 AM to 5 PM.

Session details:
10 am : Dr. Varad Giri
Snakes! The name itself is enough to spread sssshivering among us. But why? It is because of the ssstories we heard about them. Let us hear the real sssstory from the Ssssssnake himself.
10:45 am : Jyotsna Nair
A live watercolour/painting demonstration of a flamingo. Children need to have watercolours, palette, paint brush(point tip preferable) and thick paper/sketchbook.
11:30 am : Shardul Bajikar
India's endangered species and stories of their woes
12:15 pm : Poonam Kakodkar
The session will introduce children to wildflowers seen in different habitats and some of their interesting characteristics, through photos and video clips.
Break for Wildlife Film show
2 pm : Katie Bagli
An insightful session on the insect world to bring out the quirky, bizarre, mind-blowing facts about insects and some awesome secrets to their behaviour.
2.45 pm : Aishwarya Sridhar
The session will give a good start for 13+ kids interested in wildlife photography and want to take better pictures with their camera. It will focus on the basic technical aspects and the art of composition as well.
3.30 pm : Dr. Isaac Kehimkar
A presentation on how to attract butterflies in your windowsill, balcony or terrace. Children will need a notebook and pen.
4.15pm : Bhavna Menon
Walk with the Pardhis. A tale of Pardhi life told by Pardhi children.
