As the 19th century came to an end the culture to eat food at a café or restaurant started developing due to the European influence on the city which was under the British rule. As the aspirations grew so did food outlets started springing up. The traditional Marathi food which was being made in every household now became available in these commercial food establishments. While also experiments happened and new dishes got invented.
We will explore and try out these authentic food delicacies of Maharashtra from the place where it first originated and listen to the origin story of these famous outlets which are over 100 years old.

4) Poona Guest House (Thalipeth, Kothambir Wadi, Alu Wadi & Sabudana Wada)
5) Kawre Ice Cream (Softy, Faluda & Sundae)
PS: Walk charges include only guiding & information fees. Participants can order the food as per their likes and requirements and have to pay for them separately directly to the restaurant.
