CAMPING EQUIPMENTS
Industrial standard equipment: All you need to worry about is packing your personal items in your backpack, we'll supply the rest. From freshly laundered sleeping bags, to 2 men 4 season tents and sleeping mats.

Itinerary:

Day 1 - Guwahati to Dimapur (Train 6hrs)
Report a day before in Guwahati if possible. You can reach Guwahati from by travelling in a train or flight. Feel free to explore the city, but make sure you're in time in the morning to meet the group. Your Group Representative will review the details of your tour.

Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting 1h - 9PM - Guwahati Railway Station
The adventure begins this morning. Feel free to explore before your welcome meeting, but make sure you’re back in time to meet the group. After introductions, your Trek Guides will review the details of your tour.
Train 10:30 PM
We depart towards Dimapur.

Day 2 - Dimapur to Viswema (Drive 6 HRS)
Drive 8:30 AM
After breakfast we depart towards Viswema. Make stops along the way as you pass enter gorgeous Nagaland – the elevation ascends the whole way. Lunch Will be at Viswema on arrival.
Trek 1:30 PM
Today your Dzukou Valley trek begins. Enjoy a full-day guided tour of the Beautiful paradise Of the Nagaland. Take the hike slow, and drink lots of water along the way – amazing views are waiting as a reward. Enjoy some ample time to rest and relax after reaching the camp. Hiking the meandering streams, stunning scenery, and rolling mountains will be truely an unforgetful experience

Day 3 - Explore Dzukou Valley
Hike 6AM
Explore the wide and beautiful valley. Ahead of the Trekkers’ Hut, you can do a 15 minutes’ walk to the Ghost Caves or ‘Bhoot Gufa’, as they are called locally. Remember to carry a torch as the cave extends to almost 1 km. You would also consider the option to descend from the hut, to the bottom of the vast caldera of the valley. You can explore the vast stretch of grasslands and rolling meadows, blossomed with flowers in the monsoon months.

Day 4 - Dzukou - Zakhama
Trek 7AM
The trail is mostly descend, hike further till it meets a resting hut. This point is also called “Crying Child Valley”.The descend is lined with rough-hewn stone steps, which are much easier to walk down than the muddy trail up from Viswema. It tookes about 3 hours to walk down from the valley to the main road on this path.
Vehicle 11AM
Drive from Zakhama to Dimapur. Stop along the way at Kohima and visit the famous market for some last minute shopping.
Train 9:45PM
Depart back to Guwahati.
