Double Chase - Virtual Duathlon

Hence, Townscript Originals is organizing  Virtual Duathlon "Double Chase ", Exactly what a Running and Cycling enthusiast needs.

The "Double Chase" is perfect for anyone seeking a challenging physical activity and a dose of adrenaline rush to beat these quarantine blues, which unfortunately has became a new normal

About the event

This event consists of a running leg, followed by a cycling leg and then another running leg.

All you need to do is sign up for the virtual duathlon, complete your duathlon, and send us the proof of your completion.  

Virtual Duathlon will comprise of the following distances:-

• Beginner - 3KM Run, 8KM Cycle, 2KM Run
• Hustler - 5KM Run, 10KM Cycle, 2.5KM Run
• Professional - 5KM Run, 20KM Cycle, 2.5KM Run
  

All the proofs submitted will be locked, verified, and tabulated for the leaderboard. All the finishers will receive a Finisher's E-Certificate. If you are interested in some actual Duathlon Swag consider upgrading for the Finisher Medal and T-Shirt to celebrate your accomplishment.


Rules & Regulations for the Virtual Duathlon:- 

1.)Virtual Duathlon will be a one-day event starting on 6th December 05:00 hrs and ending on 6th December 23:30 hrs.

2.)Participants can record their data using a mobile phone with apps like Strava, Garmin, Nike Run Club, or any other app which suits you.

3.)Duathlon data to be submitted through a google form which you will receive in your ticket confirmation mail once you will register.

4.)Duathlon data can be submitted from 6th December 05:00 hrs to 7th December 10:00 hrs post that no more duathlon data will be accepted.

5.) You are required to submit 3 screenshots- run screenshot, cycle screenshot, and then 2nd run screenshot.

6.) Participants will receive the finishers e-certificate mentioning the actual distance covered by them.

7.)Please ensure that you are covering the distance chosen by you.

8.)If you are completing a lesser distance, than the chosen distance, your name will not appear in the leaderboard.

9.) Please adhere to the guidelines issued by the local authorities for protecting yourself and others and avoid running in large groups or close to others.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The Duathlon consists of a running leg, followed by a cycling leg and then another running leg. The same flow must be followed. It must be done in one go without breaks.
2. The flow mentioned above must be strictly followed.
3. Once you successfully register, you will receive a confirmation mail to your registered email id which has the link to submit the data embedded in it.
   
4. The run data must be submitted through the google form only. Sharing the data via email will not be considered.
   
5. While submitting the data, you will receive a copy of the same. Please fill the form only once to avoid discrepancies.
6. If you have opted for the deliverables, you will receive it within a month post-event.
