• The conventional calculation of the appropriate pipe class for a specific application case is complex. However, Engineering Base can easily include the parameters from simulated worst-case scenarios for the flow stream in the plant model. Subsequently, the application-appropriate pipe class can be selected from the database – including adjacent components such as valves and nozzles, which take the simulated conditions into account. In this context, we also demonstrate the convenient automatic creation of bills of material.
