Explore hidden delights of Paper Mache project. In this class you will learn every technique and tips to make 2D & 3D paper sculptures. We will discuss history, origin of paper mache and sculptures. This is bit of messy work, but thats what makes all the project fun for all age groups.
This is 10 days course you will learn 3 techniques to create paper mache models, we will be creating following Projects:
1. Paper Mache Sun wall decor (2 Dimension)
2. Paper Mache bowl (3 Dimension)
3. Newspaper deer head - freehand modelling (3 Dimension)
4. Paper Mask, Wearable / decor (3 Dimension)
5. One Project of your choice (2D or 3D, Assessment)
All materials will be provided at our studio to finish project, you need to bring utensils or mould for shaping your models.
Materials used:
1. Lots of old newspapers
2. PVA / Wood Glue
3. Acrylic paints & brush
What you will learn:
- The fundamentals of Paper Mache, building basic objects.
- Understand and working on freehand modelling / sculpture.
- Create 3 techniques to work on paper mache project.
- Get certificate of completion after submitting one project of your choice.
- Discussion on lots of ideas for your own Paper Mache project.
