The solace of journeys has been beautifully depicted by the lyricist in this song from movie Swades. Ultras have always resonated with the inner self of the runners. At Decathlon ultra too you would be challenging yourself for becoming the better version of yourself.

Why to run at Decathlon ultra-challenge:-

1. Running route comprises of gently rolling roads which offer challenge during run. But, you would be running on one of the most scenic route of Thane which will take away all the strain of the run.

2. This run offers something for everyone: -

5 km: Perfect segment for those who want to experience the joy of running for the first time. You would be taking back beautiful memories with a desire to do more;

10 km: Perfect route for runners who like to do a 10 k, but want to break the monotony of running on flat roads;

21 km: Runners who like to challenge themselves over half marathon distance would love this route as uphill downhill segments gives a chance to adjust pace accordingly;

32 km: Perfect bridge for those who have done couple of 21 km and aspire to shift towards longer distances;

42 km: Runners would find themselves running in one of fairly challenging Marathon, but don't worry, road runners team will ensure the route is well supported;

50 km: Perfect platform for runners aspiring to cross the 42 k mark and move towards the world of ultra marathons or 12 or more hours runs.

3. To top it all, the longer races (50/ 42/ 32 km) will start near midnight giving you a chance to run on vacant wide roads and enjoy nature at its best. But don't be too carried away, as you will have some reasonable cut offs to beat.

4. This is technically a monsoon run scheduled on 12th of July, so hoping for some showers to take away the exhaustion.

• Limited parking at owners risk (The proposed run route is regular running route where lot of runners do park their cars. However, considering the rising occurrences of thefts at running events all over Mumbai, it is advisable to travel by public transport)
