Daily World is organising the first edition of Daily World Chandigarh Cyclothon 2021 on 3rd January. The event is being organised by the Daily World, India's first International Newspaper. The event will feature cyclothon in 2 categories, 10 km, and 16 km. 

The Daily World has organised three successful international level Marathon in Chandigarh and Mohali and this is the first edition of cyclothon. His Excellency Shri. VP Singh Badnore, the Governor of Punjab and administer, UT Chandigarh will grace the occasion with his presence.

In 2021, The First Edition of Daily World Chandigarh cyclothon will witness a diverse variety of cyclists setting a benchmark of excellence and professional conduct of such a major event.

Distances:-

1- 16 KM (Fee 700 Rupees)

2- 10 KM (Fee 500 Rupees)

Note – Cyclothon will start from Sukhna Lake Chandigarh and will Take U-Turn from IT Park.

Fee Includes

(Round Neck T-Shirt, Medal, Refreshments, Certificate, Bibs

Prizes - No cash prize only Trophies to Top 3 Male & Female Winners in each Distances.

Facilities

• Medical Facilities (Ambulance & First Aid).

• Hydration point will be there on route.

• Helpline Number will be provided to all cyclists for the event day.

• Photographer will be there to shoot on route and Venue.

Rules & Information

1. Helmet is mandatory for every cyclist. (No Helmet No Ride).

2. Every cyclists must carry own safety gears.

3. Every cyclist must carry their own cycle Kit (puncture and tool kit).

4. It is suggested that every cyclist must carry their own water bottle though we have kept sufficient water/refreshment point on the route.

5. Cyclists are requested to report before half an hour of the flag-off time.

6. Sometimes competition is kept a ride of humanity if you find someone is hurt or facing any difficulty on course please inform the marshal or officials on the route on your front with his/her BIB Number.

7. Cyclists please ensure your bikes are in good moving condition before you line up at the start.

8. No technical support will be provided on route or Venue.

9. In case if someone wants to withdraw from the race his/her BIB Number will be taken out by the officials while the event.
