Pune became an imperial royal city since Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj made Laal Mahal his residence and then later when Peshwa Bajirao chose Pune as his official residence and built the Shaniwar Wada as his royal palace & it became the seat of power of the Maratha Empire from 1732 to 1818.
We will explore the Dilli Darwaja & Nagar Khana, main Wada complex, Stable, Hamaam, Well & Tanks, Ganesh Darwaja, Narayan Darwaja, Khidki Darwaja, Mastani Darwaja, Chiman Baug, Ganesh Rang Mahal, Aina Mahal, Hazari Karanji, 8 Karanji, Bajiro Peshwa Diwankhana, Royal Kitchen, Secret Meeting Room, Peacock & Deer Garden, Servant Quarters & Servants Kitchen and relive its once glorious royal past with an enriching & immersive personal experience walking through the by-lanes of history listening to interesting stories of the Peshwas & the Shaniwar Wada.
