Sep 29 '19 | 10:00 AM (IST)

Event Information

The British Council Library, a learning and cultural hub for the people of Ahmedabad, is organising Children’s Carnival that will host an exciting series of experiential learning events for parents and children.
The Children’s Carnival will host an array of workshops for children between the age group of 8-12 years. To familiarise aspiring young storytellers with different storytelling techniques and platforms, the British Council is organizing ‘Bonding through books’ that will enhance reading habits of the children. For the young arts enthusiasts, there will be various engaging art and craft activities. The Carnival will also host a specially curated session for young parents and their kids to help them learn nuances of parenting in the digital age of today.
The British Council Library, a knowledge centre for over 70 years, has evolved into a cultural hub, allowing audiences to access to not just learning resources but to an environment that nurtures learning and growth. The library aims to stay true to its promise of creating an unconventional space which is safe and child friendly. The library in Pune is a modern space which is more vibrant and welcoming not just for children but for like-minded people who can come together to learn, explore and have thought-provoking discussions.
