The 75 kilometres ultra starts in Chandigarh, winds through rural fields and villages and ends at the Maharani Club in Patiala. It is a flat route.
This is the seventh edition of this ultra run for a cause. This year all registration fees and donations will go towards the Spinal Cord Injury treatment centre run by "Serve Humanity Serve God" in Chandigarh. They are saving many lives by properly treating the bed sores of those who suffer from spinal cord injuries. They also teach them and help them to become able to look after themselves and earn a living.
Cyclists pair up with runners to help them with hydration, sustenance and moral support. We do not see this as a race. We focus on making sure everyone reaches the finish line, regardless of pace. Those who have participated in the past, know the fantastic sense of camaraderie and joint accomplishment this event gives to all involved.
You can also just donate here. Every donation helps those who are in need.
There will be medals and certificates, and good support on the road. There will be no t-shirts, prize money or trophies.
