Cartooning is one of the most creative and fun ways to express thoughts, ideas and opinions through art.
In this fun cartooning workshop you will learn about the history of cartooning, get hands on experience and acquire new skills to create your own fun characters and objects.
All these in just 2 hours.
You also get to create your own cartoon poster and take it home too.
No drawing or painting experience needed.

Rules
This is a serious cartoon workshop where serious people are not allowed.
Anyone who wants to learn a creative way to express his/her ideas, thoughts and opinions and at the same time have fun are allowed.
Amazing fact: Cartooning has a long, noble history. This important art form has been around for many thousands of years and have been used for humour and entertainment, mythological stories, super hero stories, political narratives and learning.
Workshop Plan
1) Workshop objectives and Introduction – 10 mins
2) Introduction to Cartooning – 20 mins
- Short video
- History of cartooning (shuru se shuru karte hai)
- Understand the difference between cartoons, caricatures, illustrations and comics
- Know about the famous and renowned Indian and international cartoonists
4) Cartooning Session (Get set go…) – 1 hr 10 mins
- Creating human faces out of basic shapes
- Creating complete characters
- Adding action/movement to the characters
- Introduction to thought bubbles, speech bubbles, text boxes
- Creating vehicles, objects used in daily life
- Adding life to the objects
5) My own cartoon poster - 20 mins
