WALK FOR LIFE-STRIDE AGAINST CANCER 2024

CanSupport is holding its 17th Walk for Life-Stride against Cancer event on Sunday, 4 February 2024 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, from 9 am to 11 am.

This annual event not only marks World Cancer Day (4 February), but is also held to raise awareness about the rising incidence of cancer in India and the world, show solidarity with cancer patients and their all-important support system – the dedicated caregivers.

Participation in the Walk has steadily grown in numbers and popularity over the years. People from all walks of life, different age groups and professions from Delhi NCR as well as expats and diplomats from various embassies and high commissions have walked with us to show they care. Many schools and colleges have also been participating in the Walk every year. At our last Walk in 2023, 6000 plus Walkers joined us at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.

The Walk covers a distance of 3 kms. There are also loads of fun activities to take part in such as Zumba, Face tattoo, Hair beading, Laughter club, Music and Dance etc.

To join the Walk, you can register at www.walkforlifeindia.org or scan the QR code.

Registration amount - Rs 800/- for adults and Rs 400/- for students (You get a Walk T Shirt, Cap, Medal, Participation Certificate and refreshment against your registration.)

If you are a cancer patient or survivor, you can register for free. Call at 9315905187 for details.
