Course Objective:
The data analysis approaches normally used in the managerial decision making focus on validating predefined business questions, which are unable to discover unaware business questions or the “Unknown Unknowns” from the data and discover hidden patterns which may be indicative of several opportunities and risks that have not been factored in by the organisation.

Facilitator Profile: Dr. Ranjani (KnowledgeWorks Accredited Trainer)

Dr.Ranjani earned a Ph.D. in Business Analytics, has worked in the industry for over 19 years.
“Making Sense of Data” is the area that excites her, and her Ph.D., research was also centered around information and algorithms being used for competitive advantage bordering on exploitation by the Internet Behemoths. She has worked for startups and global consulting firms such as Deloitte, and has helped several MNC’s in India and worldwide develop strategies to harness value through analytics and data. Currently she heads the analytics practice of a well-known Art and Media firm based in the US. In addition, she is speaker at various conferences, universities and corporates.
 
She has written several research papers in reputed journals in the area of Big Data and Business Analytics. She has also spoken at various academic and industry conferences in the area of Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Society and Businesses.
 
Dr.Ranjani is also an active writer and writes about the information economy and technology platforms that is changing the we live work and play.
