Bullrun + Monopoly Marathon Combo

Bullrun event is Online between 6th March to 10th March in online mode on the platform STOCKGRO.

Monopoly Marathon is a classic 6-hour board game competition in COEP Tech. North Campus. It will be on the 11th and 12th of March. Thus, there is no clash between the two events and when registered together there is an assured discount of 37.5%!!

Bullrun is a trading competition we conduct every year during Pune Startup Fest. Bull Run is basically a virtual stock market and like a stock market, the participant may buy/sell shares and invest in the stock market. Anyone who is keen on testing their investing skills or is interested in playing with shares or just wants to experience the stock market environment can participate in this event.

Registration Structure: Participants have to register for the competition on the Online Platform "Townscript". Further information will be made available on the registered Email ID and the Phone number of the participant.

Structure:

• The actual event will start one week before “Pune Startup Fest 23".
• The duration of the event is from 06 March 2023, 9:35 AM to 10 March 2023, 4.30 PM. Make note that due to ‘HOLI’ market will be closed on 7th March 2023 therefore, the league will last for 4 trading days.
• The league will get active on the Stockgro virtual trading platform.
• The login information for the trading account will be made available to the registered participants only.
• Details regarding login and registration on the Stockgro platform would be communicated via email and WhatsApp
• Participants will be ranked based on the performance of their portfolio.
• We will give a fixed amount of virtual money of 10 LAKHs Rs. 
• The individual achieving maximum gain in portfolio value at the end of five days will be the overall winner of “Bullrun”.
  
• Real-time market prices (Live standard tracking of the Indian Stock market) will be used, and the participants and organizers cannot influence the price.

The Classic Monopoly Board Game is to be played in a competitive 6-hour long game!

Standard rules, revive the memories, experience the nostalgia and test your strategy and skills at the Classic Monopoly Board Game.

Objective: The objective of the game is to accumulate the highest net worth by buying, selling, and trading properties, collecting rent and making strategic decisions with money.

Note: Maximum 6 players per board. Total limited slots of 36 players only.

Important Information:

Eligibility: OPEN FOR ALL (Age restriction 25 Years)

Date and Time of competition:

Round 1: 11th March 2023. (11.00 AM to 6.00 PM)

Round 2: 12th March 2023. (10.00 AM to 4.00 PM)

Venue: BHAU's I&E Cell, North Campus, COEP Tech.

Team Size: Individual Entry Only

Structure:

Round 1:

• The standard game will be played on 6 different game boards simultaneously.
• The total participants will be distributed randomly and equally on each of the 6 game boards. (after attendance and verification)
• The 6-hour-long game (excluding breaks) will be played in 2-hour slots. Participants are not allowed to leave during the game and will be allowed to refresh during the breaks only.
• If a player is bankrupt during the game then he/she/they will be eliminated immediately. The last standing player will be ranked 1st if the game ends before 6 hours. The player with the highest net worth will be ranked 1st at the end of the 6-hour time limit. 
• The first ranker on each board will be qualified for the second round. 
• A trained and experienced coordinator from the organizing team will be the banker and his/her/their decision will be final and binding on all.

Round 2:

• 1st rankers from each of the 6 boards will be qualified for the second round. 
• The shortlisted 6 players will play the board game once again on Day 2 (12th March) with the same rules and structures as round 1.
• Round 2 game will have a time limit of 5 hours instead of 6 hours.
• Therefore, If a player is bankrupt during the game then he/she/they will be eliminated immediately. The last standing player will be ranked 1st if the game ends before 5 hours. The player with the highest net worth will be ranked 1st at the end of the 5-hour time limit. 
• In case of eliminations, the sequence of bankruptcy/elimination will be noted for shortlisting the top 3 winners. In case of no eliminations, the list of participants with their total net worth in sequence will be displayed and accordingly the top 3 winners will be selected.
• The top 3 winners of the Monopoly game will be felicitated with certificates, trophies, and the cash prize in the valedictory ceremony at the Auditorium at COEP Tech.

Guidelines:

1. The decisions of the organizers will be final and binding on all participants.
2. The participants must carefully read through and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
3. All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity, and final judgments will be with the organizing committee of Pune Startup Fest 23, COEP Technological University Pune (Formerly known as College of Engineering Pune.)
4. The format and structure of events could be subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
5. Prize money AND Positions will be reduced in case of lesser participation. (Less than 10)
6. NO REFUND will be given under any circumstances except less than 10 registrations by 4th March 2023
7. Entry fees are inclusive of ticketing charges.
8. Organizers will not be responsible for any injuries or mishaps that happened to the participants during the event.
9. Bullrun does not clash with any other event. However, Monopoly Marathon clashes with all other events except Bullrun. Kindly do not register for any other event if you opt to take this combo.
