Blaze - Igniting Minds

FLAME Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation [FCEI] has been strengthening the local startup ecosystem through various initiatives and one such initiative is BLAZE (Bringing Leadership and Zeal to Entrepreneurs) – Igniting Ideas, the flagship two-day startup summit. Through BLAZE, FLAME University aims to bring people across India together – entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, students and business leaders to inspire budding entrepreneurs and students.

The core focus areas of the event are to promote thought leadership, exchange of ideas and experiences and to position Pune and FLAME Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation as the de-facto location for launching new ventures and startup skill development.

BLAZE - Igniting Ideas 

1. FLAME New Venture Competition – students and recent alumni across technical and management schools and universities from India can apply for this competition. Winners receive INR 85000 in cash prizes and an opportunity to incubate their ideas at the FLAME Incubator Program.

• The cash prizes for the New Venture competition are INR 50,000 for the first prize, INR 25,000 for the second prize and INR 10,000 for the third prize respectively.

1.  FLAME Origins Program Demo Day – FCEI startup accelerator program, the FLAME Origins Program, has accelerated eight startups over the last five months and these startups get an opportunity to pitch to prominent angel investors and venture capitalists. 
2. Product Showcase – Over 30 FLAME entrepreneurship student groups will display their products created over the academic year.
3. Networking – an opportunity for everyone to network with prominent business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and talented students.
