Fireflies or lightning bugs are structured with specialized cells in their abdomen which emit light. This process is called bioluminescence and is shared by many other organisms, mostly sea-living or marine organisms. Pre-monsoon climate is the ideal period for fireflies and glowworms for mating, they light up to attract their mate. Hundreds of fireflies gather together on a tree displaying their bio-luminescent lights in the dark nights

Itinerary:

Day -1 :

Travelers from Pune are supposed to join us at Shivajinagar by 11 pm.

Start the journey towards Bhorgiri - Bhimashankar

Reach Bhorgiri at 2 am.

Fireflies Trek

Rest at Homestay till 6 am.

Day -2 :

Wake up call 6 am. Breakfast & Tea.

Bhorgiri Fort / Forest Trek

Start return journey towards Pune at 9 am.

Reach Pune at 11 am.

Tour Concludes with Happy Memories :)
