Bengaluru's pete is an incredible melting pot of different ethnicities and cultures. It is also one of the oldest and largest commodities markets in India. To feed the large number of workers here and the endless number of people that transit through here, there are many legendary eateries here. The variety of food is astounding and reflects the diverse ethnic communities that have lived and worked in this area. Bengaluru's oldest bakeries, Darshnis, Military hotels were all established here in the pete. On this food tour our focus will be on typical breakfast items in the area as we make our way through some of the iconic eateries in the pete area.

Is there a meat option?
Since we are doing this early in the morning, we will be only visiting breakfast and snack eateries, all of which are vegetarian. So there will be no meat available on this particular tour.
Is there vegan options?
Yes vegan food is available, please inform your tour leader in advance about your allergies or food requirements so he can order food appropriately.
Is there a dress code for the tour?
There is no set dress code as such. Do wear comfortable clothing and shoes if possible. A hat/cap on a hot day would also be useful.
What else should be carrying on the tour?
Carry water bottle for your consumption. Avoid carrying anything heavy since you'll have to lug it everywhere.
Can I give our tour leader a tip?
If you enjoyed your time on the tour and would like to tip your tour leader, please go ahead. It is not a compulsion, but it surely will be appreciated
Can senior citizens participate on this tour?
Yes any adult can participate on this tour, the only criteria is that they are able to walk / stand for few hours comfortably. Same goes for the Kids, as long as they are able to walk they can participate.
