Bali International Indigenous Film Festival 2020 is the annual events held to honour and celebrate indigenous people and pass their wisdom and story to global community. Aligning with Kalimantan International Indigenous Film Festival #KIFF2020, this year theme is Indigenous Arising: Show Yourself! hosted by Usada Bali, presented by Dayak youth organization Ranu Welum, based in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan and the Togetherness Project based in Bali.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival will be entirely online. But we believe it will not overshadow the importance and the spirit of bringing the voice, wisdom, and hope of the indigenous community to the comforts of your home.
#BIIFF2020 will features more than 21 films from 13 different tribes/nations that make up the official selection, panel discussion with indigenous leaders and filmmakers from Indonesia and global.
