1. Introduction to AWS concepts, Regions, Availability Zones (10:00am-10:30am)

2. Overview of Compute, Storage and Networking on AWS (10:30am-11:30am)

3. Introduction to Development on AWS(11:30-1:00pm):

• Managing access to AWS
  
• Using the AWS SDKs, Configure IDE with AWS SDKs
  
• AWS Command Line Interface & AWS Tools for Powershell
  

Lunch Break (1hour)

4. Introduction to DevOps on AWS (2:00pm- 4:00pm):

• Infrastructure as Code: Introduction to AWS Cloudformation, AMIs
  
• Continuous Deployment: Introduction to AWS CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild
  
• Automation: Introduction to AWS ElasticBeanstalk, AWS OpsWorks
  

5. Hands-on exercises: Provisioning environment on AWS using Cloudformation (4:00pm-5:00pm)

6. AWS Developer Certification guidance and tips (5:00pm-5:45pm)

7. Wrap-up and Networking (5:45pm-6:00pm)

About the trainers:

• Chandramouli is a cloud subject matter expert with 6 years of experience in cloud-computing technologies and platforms, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, etc. He is an AWS CERTIFIED SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT – PROFESSIONAL Level with extensive experience in building Cloud assessment & transformation frameworks, Datacenter migrations, Cloud-first application design, development and deployment implemented using scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant and distributed architecture.
  
  He started his career at the Cloud Center-of-Excellence, where he was an integral member in incubating new technologies, building cloud-enabled solutions & tools, such as the Cognizant Cloud Transformation Framework, an AWS-based video conferencing solution built on Adobe FMS, HLS Live Streaming and FFMPEG, a cloud-management console on Android, etc.
  
  He has hands-on experience in developing reference architectures based on compute, data, network, security, cost, compliance and DR requirements. He evangelize and educate customers on AWS cloud security best practices, cloud governance, cloud IT operations, and help organizations align existing IT service management methodologies, processes and procedures with the cloud.
  
  
• Manoj Ganapathi is a seasoned IT professional with more than 16 years of experience. He has extensive experience in enterprise & solution architecture, design and implementation of large & complex enterprise systems. As an architect and technology consultant, he has consulted with several large fortune 500 enterprises and also worked with ISVs and startups. In his career, he has worked in multiple technology-oriented and leadership roles across all phases of software development life cycle. He is experienced in building and running technical communities and has been a speaker in several technology conferences.
