About: Anjarle Beach and Suvarnadurga

Anjarle Beach: Anjarle has a two kilometers long stretch of unspoiled beach with a cover of white sand and is surrounded by palms and trees. Beach is located near the estuary of river Jog. Anjarle is famous for the ‘Kadyawarcha Ganpati’ (Ganesh temple situated on a cliff).

Suvarnadurga - fort on an island built in 1600s: The fort also includes another small land fort called the Kanakadurga at the base of headland of Harnai port on the coast. As Suvarnadurga is famous for the glory of its site, it is one of the most important forts in Konkan.

ROUTE: Pune - Mulshi - Tamhini - Mandangad – Dapoli-Anjarle.

PICK UP POINTS: To be shared 1 day prior to trek on WhatsApp group (Usual pick points: Eon, Viman Nagar, Vishrantwadi)

Day 1:

• First pick up at 05:00 AM (time may change per location)

• Breakfast on the way

• Reach the destination and have delayed lunch

• Beach Games

• Settled down in the respective stays and enjoy dinner

• Inhouse music to dance and enjoy yourself

Day 2:

• Early morning by 5 am get ready for boating to go to Suvarnadurga, if lucky, one can see the Dolphins (optional) (Boating Charges Extra, Not Included in Package)

• Have the tea and breakfast with sea view and explore the beach (whoever won’t be visiting fort)

• Enjoy the Konkani cuisine at lunch

• Start return journey by 12 30 PM

• Reach Pune by 8 PM

(Please note: All the timings mentioned above are based on the previous experiences from the trek. Timings may differ. RNT TREKKERS will NOT be responsible for any deviation from the schedule given above)

BOOKING POLICY:

• Prior confirmation with payment is required by 15th Jan, till 7.30 pm

• Seat will be cancelled if payment not received by 15th Jan

• The participant receives a payment invoice via WhatsApp within 24 hours of successful booking

THINGS TO CARRY:

• Water Bottle: A saviour in many ways

• Munching Items: Trail Mix, Dry Fruits, Fruits, Laddus, etc.

• Daypack or Backpack: Travel Light & Organized

• Trekking Shoes or Hiking Boots: Walk the talk on your Hike or Trek

• Medical Kit: Personal Medicines, if any

• Extra Clothes & Shoes: 2-3 Pair of Extra Clothes and shoes or chappals

• Sleeping bag/Blanket/bedsheet – for tented stay

• Miscellaneous: Swiss Knife, Torchlight or Flashlight (night treks), Cap/Hat, Sanitizers, Masks, Sunscreen, camera, towel, personal care, etc.

DO’S & DON’TS:

• DO NOT throw Garbage & Plastic or litter around or near a water source or on a trek trail

• Use Call sign “Hello” “Oyee” in case if you are not in visible distance to the group

• Alert group against any falling object / rock - Recommended - call sign “Watch Out”

• Avoid wandering alone or click Selfie’s near the edge of an exposed valley

• Do not eat/pluck any fruits from the forest without trek leader’s consent as it could be poisonous

• Do not provoke or harm any animals, birds or honeybees

• Do not jump into a water body without trek leader’s permission
