AMC HALF MARATHON 2024

Greetings from AMC Pune to all Runners & Fitness Enthusiasts !!  We are excited to announce that Association of Medical Consultants, Pune will be hosting its annual AMC HALF MARATHON 2024 on 8th December, 2024 at Magarpatta City, Pune.

This year for the first time we are introducing 21 k - Half Marathon for our regular Runners. So, we shall have four categories and wide option for you to choose from below as per your training, fitness level and passion.

21k - Legend Run (Timed)

10k- Empower Run (Timed)

5k - Beginners Run (Timed)

3k - Family Run 

We are glad to inform you that are Marathon is now AIMS certified Marathon and is the first certified Half Marathon in South East of Pune.  You can now participate in more larger national and international races using the certificate you obtain here.

We, being Doctors association, yearly organise this Marathon purely to create public awareness about different health issues and hence do it on no profit no loss basis. This year’s Marathon aims to create public awareness about Osteoporosis with theme ‘Healthy Bones, Healthy You’ and thus promote Bone health and wellness in common people. This will be our consecutive 5th Marathon after conducting earlier four successful Marathons. This year too, AMC HALF MARATHON 2024 is expected to draw a large number of participants, runners apart from spectators from our community and beyond. 

We would be starting our marathon with warm up Zumba dance & ending our Marathon with cool down stretching and relaxing exercises. There would be exciting prizes for all the winners in each category. There would be an awareness Talk on Osteoporosis guiding everyone about how to take care of your Bone Health. Marathon will end with delicious breakfast. 

We are happy to annouce that there will be exciting prizes for first three winners in three age categories (< 35 yrs, 35 to < 60 yrs, 60 yrs and above) male & female separate. Also there will be free BMD screening of all participants over 40 yrs of age which will tell how weak or strong your bones are. Age Eligibility Criteria:

21k - Above 18 yrs 

10k- Above 15 yrs 

5k - Above 12 yrs 

3k - Above 8 yrs 

Prize Money:

21 km - winner - Rs. 7000/-, runner up - Rs.5000/-, second runner up - Rs. 4000/-

10 & 5 Km - winner - Rs. 5000/-, runner up - Rs.4000/-, second runner up - Rs. 3000/-

Terms and Conditions

All entrants to this event must agree with these terms and conditions, and release from liability. If you are entering on behalf of someone else, you accept the waiver terms on their behalf. If you do not accept the terms of this waiver, you must cancel your entry transaction now.

1.Please choose the event category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. Provide us with a secure email ID/mobile no that you can access regularly, since this will be our primary means of communication during the run up to the event.

2.Users of email services that offer filtering/blocking of messages from unknown email address should add this email id service@townscript.com to their address list.

3.We might be sending regular updates to the Mobile number you have provided in the registration form this should be not treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk sms service provider.

4.Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.

5.Please fill out only those fields that are necessary for mailing purposes. Do not provide redundant data in multiple fields (i.e., do not list the same data for city, province and country), as this will only complicate our ability to contact you, if necessary.

6.You are aware that running long distance running is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the AMC HALF MARATHON 2024 Run event and do not hold the organizing committee or any of it’s members or entities responsible for any injury or accident.

7.You shall consult your physician and undergo complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.

8.You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.

9.You agree that AMC HALF MARATHON 2024 event shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.

10.You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.

11.You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.

12.You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event.

13.You may acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by AMC HALF MARATHON 2024 or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.

14.You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force major or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable)

15.We request total co-operation from runners in this regards.
