ALKEMIC is a play in three acts.
Act 1: KAL HI MILAY
Kal Hi Milay is a Delhi-based trio blending Kashmiri folk, Sufi, and contemporary world music. Known for their evocative acoustic performances, the band also produces ad music, film scores, and compositions for Kashmiri indie artists and major brands.
(1) Ehtisham Baba, a multi-instrumentalist and music curator, brings soulful vocals and guitar to the band’s music, shaping its distinct sound and creative direction.
(2) Ayan Joe, a multi-instrumentalist with roots in Kerala, enriches the act as a violinist, crafting emotive melodies and contributing to the band’s production work.
(3) Shinu, the trio’s percussionist and technical expert, anchors their sound with vibrant rhythms and ensures seamless live and studio production.

Act 2: PEERZADA MUZAMIL
Peerzada Muzamil is a development professional, documentary film-maker, writer, and an independent singer-songwriter based in Delhi. His songwriting deep-dives into personal and collective memories, capturing the essence of our inner and outer worlds as they evolve. As a tool to map and preserve memory for posterity, his Urdu poetry and Kashmiri verse, blended with acoustics, talk about history, about loss, about hope.

Act 3: AHMED PARVEZ
Ahmad Parvez is a singer-songwriter and storyteller from Kashmir who infuses his works with melodies rooted in his homeland. Drawing from Urdu and Kashmiri poetry, his music spans genres such as folk, blues, and rock. Ahmad creates music to preserve memories and believes that the personal is inherently political.
