1. Participants have to show the Email OR SMS which has their BIB number. Alternatively please show registration information SMS/email while collecting the BIB.

2. At the time of bib collection, participants are requested to carry original ID proof (ID Proof which has a Photo and Date of Birth)

3. No race category changes will be allowed

4. No t-shirt exchange will be allowed

5. Participants will not be allowed on the Race Day without BIB

6. Unavailable for the BIB Collection? Assign someone! Authorization Letter signed by the registered runner.

• He/She must carry a soft copy of the Registration Confirmation [With BIB Details] email / SMS.

• Soft Copy of their ID Proof

Welcome to the 1st edition of this prestigious event. The enthusiasm of Amdavadis is growing leaps & bounds. The momentum will begin with SHILP Aarambh – GIFT City Run 2023 and continue in the positive direction towards the cause – Drugs Free Society. We offer an opportunity for all the citizens to come together and spread awareness for a Drugs free Society.

With a goal of improving people's awareness towards Drugs Free Society, the 1st edition of this running event to be held on Sunday 26th February 2023, with the participation of 10000 + runners in GIFT City, Gandhinagar. With a strong core team of experts, we are here to provide a huge running platform to come together and celebrate health and spread awareness of Drugs Free Society.

• Date: 26th February 2023 l Sunday l 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM

• Category: Half Marathon 21.0975KM, 10KM Run & 5KM Fun Run

Registration Fees:

• Half Marathon – 650 Rs.

• 10KM Run – 450 Rs.

• 5KM Run – 250 Rs.

Prize Money:

> The prize money is applicable to Indian participants only.

> Fastest winners & Age Categories winners are separate.

> On Race Day a victory ceremony will be conducted for the fastest winners for men & women. (Results announced on race day are Provisional)

> All winners will be announced on our website and on our Social Media Channels 7 working days post the event after verification of the document. They will be provided with their winner’s prizes 45 days from the finish of the event.

> Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age as may be required by the organizer for the cash prize which the Event Promoter may at its sole discretion withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from the competition.

> All prizes are subjected to taxation, providing age proof and completion of necessary formalities.

> On Investigation, If the runners are found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others, will not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable). Such runners shall also be disqualified from future competitions.

> All claims for prize money made post 15th April, 2023 stand nullified.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Half Marathon 21.0975KM - Only for 18 years and above (born on or before February 25, 2005)

• 10KM Run: Only for 13 years and above (born on or before February 25, 2010)

• 5KM Fun Run: Only for 8 years and above (born on or before February 25, 2013)

• Water, energy drinks, and refreshments along the course.

• Medical Support. Post-race refreshments Finisher’s medal

• Timing SMS & Timing Certificate (Soft Copy) for 10KM Run

• Participation Certificate for 5KM Fun Run

Rules & Regulations:

• Submit both COVID Vaccine certificates while registering OR Submit RTPCR Report/COVID Vaccine certificates during BIB Expo

• Participants are required to wear a mask and ensure COVID-appropriate behaviour at all times inside the venue.

• Participants must register on or before the closing date of the registration, no new entry will be accepted post 21st February 2023

• Once registration is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable, IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO ANY UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE ORGANIZERS, THE REGISTRATION FEE PAID BY YOU FOR PARTICIPATION WILL BE ADJUSTED TOWARDS YOUR PARTICIPATION ON A NEW DATE. IN THE EVENT OF YOU BEING UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE ON THE NEW DATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.

• Please save the confirmation email received after registration as a reference for future communications.

• Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or timing bib tag with another individual, will be disqualified from the event and shall not be allowed to apply or participate in the subsequent edition of the event.

• Please note if you don't wear your timing bib tag as instructed, you won't be able to get an official finish time and thereby the official Certificate recording your finish times. No bib tag – No Timing – No Prize.

• No vehicles are allowed on the course. Anyone bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the race; you will be asked to leave the course.

• Only those confirmed participants wearing the running number bibs will be allowed on the route. Any person found wearing the incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified and removed by the course security.

• Further, every runner must wear his/her running number bib on the front of the vest. Any mutilation, fold, alteration or damage to the bib will amount to disqualification of the runner from the event.

• Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.

• Baggage counters are available for all participants. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewelry, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag stored. Organizers are not responsible for any loss of baggage and/or its belongings

• Participants are requested to cooperate with the police and security personnel deputed at the event venue and on the route. Participants/supporters are liable to random checking on race day – this is for your own security.

• Entry Cancellation: Requests for cancellation & transfer will not be accepted and thereby, a refund will not be entertained.

• The right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this application form is at the sole discretion of the Event Organizing team and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances, and the applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising hereunder.

• The rules listed are subject to change as per the discretion of the Event Heads and the Organizing Committee.

• Please bear in mind that all events, venues and timings are subject to change.

By signing this Waiver and Release, I declare that I am medically able, properly trained, physically fit and capable of participating in a race, and that my medical care provider has approved my participation. I agree to independently consult my physician in the event of any injuries or medical questions arising from or related to my participation in the Aarambh Gift City Run. I also acknowledge full and sole responsibility for my own medical expenses and that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses on my behalf. In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Aarambh Gift City Run. I agree to assume all risks and to release and hold harmless to the Aarambh Gift City Run Team. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding upon our heirs, assigns, and legal representatives. I hereby grant my consent and permission to Aarambh Gift City Run, its Partner organizations, and employees to use any and all information submitted in my application, and/or my name, photograph, videotape, motion picture recording, voice or likeness for any purpose, including pre-race and post-race publicity..
