IITACB Monthly Meet - March 22, 2025

Mar 22 | 11:00 AM (IST)

Event Information

From AI-driven diagnostics to robotics-assisted surgeries, technology is set to transform patient care, making treatments faster, smarter, and more personalised than ever before. But how do these innovations impact patient outcomes, and what challenges must be overcome to ensure their success?

Join us at the IITACB Centre on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for an insightful talk by Anuradha Kanamarlapudi, Technology Director, GE HealthCare India. She will explore how robotics-assisted surgeries are revolutionising healthcare by enabling minimally invasive procedures, reducing complications, accelerating recovery, and enhancing surgical precision. Additionally, she will discuss how AI-driven automation is streamlining hospital workflows, allowing healthcare providers to focus more on patient care.

While these advancements hold great promise, they also bring significant challenges. Issues such as data privacy, AI biases, high costs, regulatory hurdles, and integration with existing healthcare systems need to be addressed. Anuradha will shed light on these critical concerns and discuss how, despite these obstacles, continued advancements in AI and robotics are paving the way for a future of smarter, more efficient, and patient-centric healthcare.
