About the speaker: With a rich work history that includes leadership roles in renowned organizations like Citibank and ANZ Grindlays Bank, Vijay brings a wealth of experience in international finance and banking. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Rainbow Digital Services P Ltd, an NBFC focusing on finance and corporate advisory services, Vijay continues to drive innovation and excellence in the financial sector. 

His educational background from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras underscores his strong foundation in academia.

In the area of Investment Banking, he has held top positions in Citibank and done major transactions for prominent corporations like Air India, Khaitan, Bajaj, Birla, Goenka, ITC, and Nestle, both domestically and in global markets.

With a strong focus on corporate governance, Vijay has served on the boards of several top companies, ensuring adherence to best practices. These include mature companies like Dabur India, Nayara Energy, and start-ups like Paytm, and India Mart. He has successfully mentored highly successful start-ups on strategy in their formative years His expertise extends to asset management, where he ran successful portfolio management services for companies, family offices, and high net-worth individuals. Additionally, his active involvement in lending to small and medium businesses underscores his commitment to fostering economic growth at various levels.

He was an Expert in CNBC for more than 15 years advising investors on managing their money. Vijay's political journey includes significant contributions to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), where he served as the National Convenor of the Policy-making Central Economic Cell and as a National Spokesperson on economic issues. He also held positions on the National Executive for six years, shaping policy initiatives during the party's tenure in power.
