You will be glad to know that the book "100 Great IITians: Dedicated to the Service of the Nation" edited by Commander VK Jaitly (distinguished alumnus of IIT Kharagpur) and published by Excel India Publishers will be launched by the Hon'ble Governor of Karnataka Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot as the Chief Guest on 17th of August, 2024. Prof Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore will be the Guest of Honour. The Great IITians from Bangalore and adjoining areas featured in this book will also be felicitated.

This book contains the stories of those IITians who refused to be lured by the west and stayed back/returned to their motherland and contributed to the growth of India. It is pertinent to inform you that 100% profits from this book will go for social causes through Rashtrahit Foundation: 40% for the poor students getting into 23 IITs, 40% for the upliftment of tribals, 10% for PM Cares Fund and 10% for misc social organisations.
