Welcome to Kanya-A-Thon -

 Run For Sanitary Pads is back with its 6th edition this year .The 6th  Edition of an event being organized by the URM Team of the Universal Runners Marathon in association with The Venkateshwar School,Sec-57 , Gurugram is a charity fundraiser event . 

Kanya-A-Thon : 

This event with a view to create the awareness and educating them about the benefits of using sanitary pads and encourage the girls to use sanitary pads to lead a better & healthy life. It has been a charity Run  to change the lives of young girls with respect to education, nutrition, immunization and their overall well being.  our participants that we have and are able to continue to impact many lives through our noble initiative. Kanya-A-Thon 2024 will be held on March 3rd 2024 at Gurugram, where it has traditionally been held over the last few years.

Our Purpose:

URM is organizing this event with a view to create the awareness and educating them about the benefits of using sanitary pads and encourage the girls to use sanitary pads to lead a better & healthy life. Through our Run ,we aim to improve the health and quality of the life for girls & women who are underprivileged and can't afford the sanitary pads and will educate them with the benefits of using sanitary pads for their own safety. We need your support to reach needy girls/women with sanitary products this year.

Our Mission:

Stop The Spot , many Girls and women who can’t afford sanitary pads during their Periods. Only 35% of India’s Menstruating women use sanitary pads .Every woman has a chance to aspire for a healthier and wonderful life ! Contribute sanitary pads for underprivileged girls and women. We come together as one to make things right .So ,participate to help this noble cause. I look forward to your support for this initiative .

Cut Off Time : 2 Hour

Race Start Time : 7:00 AM

Cut Off Time : 45 minutes

On Race Day :  All The Participants will get water station , Energy Drink & first Aid on per 2 km , Start & Finishing Point, Finisher Medal ,Winners Trophy , Energy Drink & Refreshment After Completing Run online Timing Certificate & Race Result Available On Website  Next 2 Days From The Event Date .

Note : Timing certificate from this event can be used to qualify for all major Marathons in India"

Reporting Time : 6:30 Am

Prizes : Trophy for Top 3 Runners Boy & Girl.

BIB EXPO DETAILS :

We start with warm up exercises / Zumba and close with cool down stretches. 

Deliverables:-  DryFit T-shirt to all the Participants - Timing chip for only Half Marathon ,10.55 Km and 5.25 Km run- Medals and E- certificate to all the Participants ( 21km ,10.5km,5km,3km &1km ) -Winner’s Trophy - Post-run refreshment to all the Participants- On Route Hydration to all the Participants- Photographs / Videography- Medical support- Zumba, Music ,Dhol and lot of Fun

Rules & Regulations : 

1.Please do not litter the route. We will have dustbins all along the route.

2.Runners will get Finisher Medal , Energy Drink & Refreshments after finishing their running.

3. . Event Photos , Race Result & Timing Certificate download after 2 day from the event date. Participants will get race result website & photos link on their E-mail ID & Universal Runners  Facebook Page : https://www.facebook.com/universalrunners28/

4.Participants need to be at least 5 years old for the 3km run , participants need to be at least 8 years old for the 5km run . 

5.Participants need to be at least 12 years old for the 10.55 km run

6. Participants need to be at least 18  years old for the 21.1 km ( HALF MARATHON )

7 . Baggage Store Counter will be there on Race Day .

8. The Parking Area will be there .

9. (Chest No.) Bib No. and T-shirt Collection not Available On Race Day for local Runners .

10. Bib Number & T-shirt Collection Date , Venue & Timings details will be updated After Closing Registration , Participants will get mail also.

11.No refunds of registration amount or transfer of registration.

12.Please call for an ambulance or aid if you ever do feel dizzy or unsteady.

13. No entry , without Bib & Registration. Bib exchange is strictly not allowed, we will be disqualify them immediately .

14. For outstation Runners- you can collect your T-shirt & Bib on race day .

I have been certified to be physically fit by licensed medical practitioner and agree to indemnify the organizers its agents, employees and associates, the organizing committee and other persons connected to the event against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities, claims or proceedings arising out of any misstatement and/ or misrepresentation made herein.
