2 Days Workshop on How To Build a Fashion Portfolio for Beginners

• This workshop is designed to help students develop their research skills and understand how to build ideas through research
• It will be particularly useful to those planning on studying at Bachelor’s level.

Topics Covered

• This course will take the form of a two-day project, beginning with an exploration of methods to find inspiration.
• How to create a fashion design portfolio to enable you to provide visual evidence of your artistic capabilities and distinguished identity
•  Assess your fashion portfolio against a checklist of essential elements to make your work stand out
•  Understand the importance of your portfolio as a communication tool
• Know what elements of your work to include in your portfolio and what to exclude
• Through experimentation with materials and processes including drawing, collage, print, model-making, and photography, you will channel your ideas into focused individual projects.
• In the process, you will develop skills that can be translated into your individual area of interest

Ms Mohita Purswani

Mohita is a fashion designer, an illustrator, and an educator. She completed her bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from NIIFT and has over 2 yrs of professional experience in the areas of fashion illustration, portfolio development, and design process & also an expert in providing compelling design & artwork.
