Mr Richards Gomes
Richard Gomes grew up in the capital, New Delhi, where he completed his schooling at the prestigious Don Bosco School, before moving on to join the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi, where he was the recipient of the Best Graduations Project.
After graduation, he became assistant to designer Samant Chauhan where he was solely in charge of the design development for his seasonal collection.
With an Industrial experience of 6 years at present, he teaches at NIFT Delhi. As an independent artist and illustrator Richard has exhibited at India Art Fair 2022 in collaboration with the designer Aneeth Arora for Pero. His works revolve around personal narratives and travel journeys where he draws inspiration from his observations. Gomes tends to work with mixed media as well as digital mediums.
