K-POP Concert
The
world of K-Pop (short for Korean Pop) is entering India with a distinct
flourish. K-POP contest is held
worldwide. The Grand finale of ‘K-POP’ Concert will be held in August 2016 at
South Korea under ‘KPOP World Festival’ and before that we have Kpop Indian
Grand Finale in Channai on 30th July 2016. Interested Indian
participants can upload their Videos till 25th May 2016 at www.Kpopindia.com
The
K-Pop festival has thus seen a lot of interaction with India over the past few
years. The genres of electronic, hip-hop, R&B, which were earlier unheard
of in India, have become one of the many staple genres the young Indian listens
to.
This
Concert has two categories: Singing and Dancing further divided into three
stages - Online contest, Preliminary Round and the Grand Finale. Preliminary
round will be witnessed at – Delhi, Kolkata, Patna, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai
and North East. Dates and venues are not declared yet. The selected
participants will be called for the audition at regional venues. The then
selected candidates will be called for India Finale round at Chennai which will
be held on 30th July 2016. For the first time the Finale round is
being organized at Chennai. The 1st prize winner from India will
then perform at ‘The KPOP Concert Grand Finale Round’ held in August.
Two
members, Eddy and Simba from famous Korean J.J.C.C Band are coming as Judge for
Grand Finale India round. J.J.C.C Band is made by famous actor Jackie chan.
K-POP is a world famous
South Korean Music genre, comprise all genres of South Korean pop music with
pop-dance, pop-ballad, electronic, rock, metal, hip hop, R & B, etc. The
craze and the jazz for this genre of music are extremely popular and global.
Experimentation of music, style, dance and design defines the KPOP Stars; they
are also termed as the Hallyu Stars, the term originally originated from
Beijing journalists, for the popularity of Korean Culture and Entertainment.
K -POP has an interesting
history in India, in the beginning it was assumed not to be receptive by the
Indians; but now it has grown up to a different dimension and emerged as a
unique genre of music followed by many Indian fans. KPOP, which was only
assumed to be the culture followed by North East Indians, has now gained
popularity among many Delhiites and people across India.
